Surgery is something your dr need to talk with you about...5.6 cm is about 2" inches. Sometimes they do remove them and others not. Only your dr will know whether surgery is necessary or not.

5.6 cm is just about 2 inches. I would think that something that big on your ovary would need to come out especially since an ovary isn't much bigger than 2 inches long. But only your doctor can tell you what needs to be done.
