humans are rife with failures. in fact i'd have to say we have cornered the market on them in comparison to all god's creatures. but our strength is that we can be aware of our failures and overcome them if we wish to. it's not easy.
not admitting when we're wrong is a failure everyone has comitted at one point in time. to err is human. to admit that i've erred requires almost superhuman strength, and it's not always easy to muster. it's far easier to blame my failures on someone else. being unable to forgive a wrong is another failure we've all committed. again, it's far easier to grind an axe or stamp out vermin than it is to forgive. pride is another fault common to homo sapiens sapiens. we are so full of conceit over all the things we HAVE accomplished, no one pays attention to those who are downtrodden and left behind. being full of oneself leads a person to forget about the feelings of others. a lack of love? perhaps, but one must first love oneself before they can love someone else. being incapable of loving either self or another can certainly lead to failure, but there are other causes too.

Not all, but many. When you think about what love entails in reality -- when you remove the romanticism of love and view it only in light of actions -- love is the primary root of human achievement. If a parent does not love a child, he or she may not feel the desire to provide it with even the most rudimentary basics, like a decent diet or medical care, or education, or emotional support. "Failure to thrive" does not necessarily mean dying while unattended in an orphanage -- it can mean living and failing to ever reach the potential one was born with.
Outside of family, those who are despised or who are considered worthless for some cultural or ethnic reason also tend to fail to realize their potential in life. People, even though loathe to admit it, are constricted by the reality of the world in which they live. There are not, for example, many African American success stories from the eighteenth century. Widespread prejudice and fear, along with the reality of slavery limited opportunities. Whatever love was given internally, by the family, was not enough to overcome the lack of love society heaped upon the despised.
Today, many people find themselves discouraged by a society that values looks above brains, social connections above true talent, and money above ethics. How much wasted genius sits in livingrooms across America, disconnected from the world not by choice, but by the demands of an unloving and unaccepting society? The mediocre scientist with an impeccable family and solid connections will often win out over the brilliant scientist with gnarled teeth and an independent spirit. The bubbly teenager with an IQ of 110 will often be more successful in the world than the angst ridden young poet with an IQ of 150. America likes a "positive attitude" more than intelligence and authenticity.
Love is support, and acceptance, and encouragement -- these are the actions of love in reality. Without support, acceptance, and encouragment, many people will fail to thrive....and human failures in almost every category are the result.

That's a pretty absolute Q! ALL human failures? I think not. In life there are many examples of love CAUSING all kinds of failure.

No. A lack of knowing the truth about ourselves. Who we are, Where we came from, what happened that we got to be the way we are today, (crazed with greed, corruption, violence and indifference. A lack of knowing the truth so we can cleanse our souls, hearts minds, the earth of hurt. And make a new world of equality, wellness, abundance on a global scale. There are those fighting now to keep us ignorant. There are those "peacing" now to uncover what's been forgotten. We dropped Excalibur in the mud long long ago, and now it must be found. Not for violence but for truth.

"Hi Kimberly!
If anyone considers the essence of failure, you, absolutely, must (please) understand that lack of love creates it. If only one, of two people, are in love with the other, there is failure. The relationship might last, but, it will not be fueled by love ... it will be another kind of relationship which will never succeed to the balance love would pay for it."

Well I am not sure what you think constitutes a human failure, but lack of love would be one of the many by-products of fear. Which has been and will continue to be humanity's double edged sword. It has simultaneously given us our intuitive ability to adapt and survive, but also serves as the primary motivation behind every horrific act ever comitted. As animals we are incomplete.

HI call human failures as SETBACKS in life. For me, it happens to teach us a lesson, to make us stronger in all aspects in life, and as a probably a payback for bad things done in the past, the latter is---- if you believe in reincarnation and karma.

One could possibly rationalize this to be true...for instance, trying to establish that someone failed a math test because a parent didn't love him/her enough to take the time to work with them...and the parents failed because they were abused and unloved themselves...and so on, but you would be hard pressed to prove it. Possibly if you replaced "all" with "most", you would have a better case...if you're trying to make one. Still, it's an interesting theory. I like it.

Not nearly. Many failures are due to love. Civilizations can fall because of it.

It's not possible. God is love. Not succeeding may only be a failure on the surface, but they all come with an education that can't be bought.

I don't see how that's possible. If you fail a test at school, it's not lack of love but lack of studying or intelligence.
