Stairway To Heaven....there's lots of good rock out there, but I think 'Stairway...' has to be #1. Old time Rock and Roll by Seger and Paradise By The Dashboard Lights by Meatloaf are also up there on the list. Clapton's Cocaine, Humble Pie's 30 Days in the hole, ...it could be a long and prestigious list.

I think Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven actually has the record for the most played song on the radio. I guess that means it's up there.

Bat Out Of Hell is a camp rock excitement, my chum - as might nicely be mentioned of many of the miraculous Mr Loaf's catalogue of artwork! very final Countdown; Eye Of The Tiger; and what became that one that made it vast in simple terms through fact the wall became coming down? Gorky Park? - all terrific suited examples of rock sh!te. if reality be told I reckon something with a Euro flavour suits the invoice right here - eastern ecu rock BALLADS specifically. Jolly stable Q, CR9!

Well, this isnt a rock song ,its a rock ballad by the Beatles but "Yesterday" is the most coverd song ever. So I think that will be the most popular song ever.

I so agree with you. But I think "Sweet Home Alabama" might actually be a little more popular.

By most popular, you mean best selling, not my personal favorite.

The Best selling song of all time is "Candle in the Wind" by Elton John.

If you don't consider that rock (some do, some don't), then it would be "We are the World" by various artist.

Stairway to Heaven immediately popped into my head. And you could almost throw Free Bird in there also.
