I don't go to he cinema. I got long legs and it gets all cramped and the chairs are so flippin uncomfortable and they expect me to pay a fortune for the discomfort on top. I wait till it comes out on DVD and make my own popcorn :-) Wether it got Tom Cruise in it or not.

Separating the actor from the person and concentrating on his on screen abilities.

He is a capable actor (witness him in Born on the Fourth of July) but unfortunately he seems to beincapable of getting a role that would reward this. Most of his films feature cardboard cut out roles in what are reallly B movies or star special effects at the expense of plot or characterisation.

As someone who doesn't visit the cinema often, my answer would be no BUT in the event that he was given a role to get his teeth into then I might well (and would definately watch it).

I would. Yes, he's lost it BUT his movies continue, and will continue to make money. he is the biggest (as in grosses of his movies and sheer popularity) star in movie history. this craziness
he's doing will not be his downfall. I think he is a psychotic loon but I still go see his movies. He is a movie STAR, the movie STAR, and these people have a quality that brings people into theaters no matter what crazy stuff they do.

Practically speaking, his 'private' life is none of my business & what he's put forth for public consumption is not my place to judge. I'm sure that I don't have all the facts in any case.

So...yes. I would go see a movie of his if I wanted to It's not too difficult to separate a person from their profession. He is an actor & if he's acting in a film that I find interesting, then I'll certainly pay to watch it & I'll let him sort out his private life.

I never have before, so I sure don't think I will start now. :) Even while all the girls in my high school were drooling over him years ago, I couldn't stand him. There are so many actors out there that are way better than he is-- and better looking, too! I believe his Hollywood star has lost its shine...

No, he wont others will follow. You now money rules the world, people go crazy.
Tom is not the only actor in a film. Why not, when the story is good.

Hell Yeah.
I dont see why people hate him so much. So he is in love and doesnt mind shounting to the world? So he wants to protect his daughter from a bunch of photographers? He is in all his right.
Stop messing with him. You should be complaining about the people in the house next to you that live a life of moral superiority when they are just as morally deprived as everyone else.

you Should have said Tom Who Cruise, because he has not made a good movie sense the 80's and his demeanor now sucks more then ever! I would not or will not see a movie with him in it, not even if you payed me!

I have never heard anything he has said about scientololgy and I really don't care because it has nothing to do with the character that he is playing in a movie and I saw Mission Impossible 3 and it was awesome!!!
