Its a British film about a woman who gets married to a man and then falls in love with a woman, and comes to terms with her inner lesbian. Its nice, sweet, and corny at the same time. I was just wondering what others thought of it.

I thought it was good. Yeah, a little corny, but still a good film to put in your library.

Personally I think it is another example of how lesbian culture is neatly packaged and presented to the masses as "light comedy". Stories like this do exist. But why, must the same films be made over and over again, and the answer basically is because the mainstream culture is not ready for reality, or difference. I wouldn't pay to see this movie.. not when I can see a rerun of "When Harry Met Sally" for the three thousandth and fifty time.

Personally the movie was very unrealistic, like a girl would 'ditched' not only her husband but her long term best friend so quickly. Also her parents acceptance of her homosexuality without much of a 'reflection' phase. The best part of the movie would be her poor husband balwing his eyes out while telling his nephew (?) about being 'dumped'. that scene was really well acted.

someone recently posted something about the best lesbian film in this forum. you may want to check that out.

I think it's sweet if you support or at least, don't hate homosexuality. Everybody loves a love story.

it was a good movie. At least they kept them together in the end...I didn't think it was very realistic that things would happen that way, but then I don't believe in love at first sight either...(smile)
