Will the person nicknamed 'panda' who answered my question on accounting thesis topic please contact me?
The IFRS topic really sparked my interest. I will have to check first if that topic has already been done before as a thesis. If so, I will choose a different topic. But right now the IFRS seems like something I would enjoy writing about for a thesis.

Sarbanes-Oxley act came out of the Worldcom
Enron Arthur Andersen fiascos.
It makes the officers of a corporation liable for errors made in the accounting in some cases.
Just enter "Sarbanes-Oxley" in a search engine, and read the articles. I wish you great luck.
