Because the one day stuff isn't always as effective. Sometimes you need the full 7 days. Kinda like when you get sick and the Dr. tells you to make sure you take all the antibiotics, not to stop when you feel better.

Monostat

Some times the monostat 1 is too strong and can make a chemical burn in the vagina where the other although it takes longer is gentler. I have seen chemical burns from some of that strong anti yeast gel and its not a pretty sight and the woman has a hard time walking and doing anything else and it takes a good while to heal.

HAHAHAHAHA
Not only cost.
My gynacologist says that the one time stuff does not always really do the job, so the ones for more days could do a more complete job.

Sometimes the yeast infection is stronger than other times... 1 day isn't always enough.

Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man
That he didn't, didn't already have
And Cause never was the reason for the evening
Or the tropic of Sir Galahad.

So please believe in me
When I say I'm spinning round, round, round, round
Smoke glass stain bright color
Image going down, down, down, down
Soapsuds green like bubbles

Cost. And they might want an excuse not to have to pleasure their husband for a few nights.
