well ice your eyebrows and and then pluck them. and when you pluck your eyebrows draw a line with your eyebrow liner and then pluck out what is not in the line.

Try and pluck them after a warm shower, when your skin is softer. After 2 or 3 times the eyebrow hairs are going to be harder, easier to pull and it won't hurt at all!
It is best that for your first time you get professional help by an aesthetian. This way you avoid having uneven eyebrows. Then you will have an outline to follow every time you pluck them. Otherwise, seek help in the internet, there are guides with pictures on how to do it.
Whatever you do, make sure you don't pluck above your eyebrows! This will ruin their natural shape. Use alcohol on your twister before you start and don't insist on a hair that is inside the skin.
Remember, the more natural the better, avoid extreme thinning and don't shorten their length. Just pluck underneath so that they are slightly thinner than before.
Good Luck!!!

Ok that girl got it right, try applying ice. But heres what I do because I have real sensitive skin and im 25 and it still kinda hurts when I pluck mines or even go to get em wax'd or threaded. Get a lil bit of lotion and apply it to that area, and wait a lil bit until that area dries that way when u start pluckin ur eyebrows it isn't too slippery. This helps relax the area around ur eyes, and get it prepared for the plucking.

Oh and if ur worried about uneven eyebrows then just pluck real carefull and slow, pluck each hair one by one and not a bunch of hairs all at once. then look in the mirror and see how u want ur eyebrows arched.

Hope I helped♥
pick me as best answer, lol =)

Put ice on eyebrow and area around the eyebrow before plucking. This will help numb it a bit. After plucking for a while it won't seem to hurt as much. I know you can buy these things that are like stickers that you can line your eyebrows with and then you can pluck around them. This will help you get a more even pluck. I don't know exactly where you can get them though.
Best of luck!

Take a pain reliever like Tylonel before you start to pluck. Also pluck after a shower so your pores are open. You could try rubbing some ice over your eyebrows to numb them (wipe away excess moisture afterwards). I would focus just on the area between your two eyebrows (unibrows are never cute) and the few stray hairs. You don't want your eyebrows too thin. A natural brow always looks better.

Plucking always hurts, sorry. Waxing will remove even the fine little hairs that no one sees so you will have to continue if you start that, so good decision there. When plucking just follow the natural arch of your eyebrow and only pluck the stray hairs. Do not try to shape too much. They do make little eyebrow razors that you can use to shape. Good Luck.

I would really suggest waxing. The stylist will shape them and you can maintain with plucking. Like others suggested, holding the skin taut will lessen the pain. You will eventually get used to it....I can pluck my eyebrows now with no pain.

If you do decide to do it on your own:
1. Work from the bottom outside.
2. Use a pencil angled from your nose to determine where the arch should be
3. Avoid plucking off the top
4. LESS is MORE. Biggest mistake people make when plucking at home is taking off too much.

First you could numb them by putting ice on them first. Then trace them with eyeliner to get the shape and pluck the stray hairs. Pluck the hairs out in the direction they are growing.

I pull my skin tight around the hair I'm plucking and then pluck in the direction the hair is growing. It hurts less and you are less likely to have mismatched brows if you pluck one hair at a time. Here's a good link with a ton of info about shaping your brows http://beauty.about.com/od/allaboutyoureyes/ht/groombrows.htm
good luck

Don't pluck them the week before your period or during your period. I have no idea why, but your skin is more sensitive (to things like plucking) then. Also, you can take ibuprofen about an hour beforehand. That helps, as well.
