Yes you can walk with a broken tail bone but its painful. If you have fallen and broke your tail bone sometimes it heals bent in and if you are female and of child bearing age it can block the descent of the baby's head at birth. What the Dr generally does is re break it and it usually straightens itself up and heals correctly. Good luck

Yes you can walk
I was able to walk and do everything but all of it hurt like hell for about three weeks.
If you go to the doctor there is not much they can do but give you pain meds for it.
Sitting on the toilet was about the only comfortable position I could find.
Tell your wife good luck it will hurt for awhile but it will get better. I never had anything done for mine and I ride horseback all the time and am now fine.

Yes, it is. I knew someone in elementary school who broke his. He went to school and everything fine- he just had to sit on a round plastic cushion when he was sitting.
So, yes it's possible. Your wife should get it checked, because there might be some things she shouldn't do (like sit down without cushioning) in order for it to heal properly!

I cracked my tailbone in june. It still hurts if i sit for a long time and try to get up. when i did it and mine was just cracked, i was in extreme pain!!!!!!!! if hers is broke walking would be hard but sitting and standin up would be enormously painful. take her to the er for x rays... not much they can do except, painkillers and eventually it goes away unless you are great man and let her have 5 months bed rest

Yes, she will be able to walk. But she will be in a lot of pain for awhile. Sitting may be alot harder than walking.
