I have a 2000 323i BMW that needs a rear brake job. I dont want to take it to the dealership and have to pay premium.
Does anyone know a good place in the Seattle area that can do the job reasonably? I am also toying with the idea of buying the parts on the Net (about 40% less) and taking them to a mechanic who can put them in. Has anyone bought auto parts on the internet and what is the experience?

the fees for rear brakes with the help of the previous answerers are all unrealistic and not in keeping with expenses for genuine BMW factors. remember that to do an entire brake job, you like rotors, pads, sensor and exertions (often a million.5 hours). bypass to the factors branch of a broking and inquire approximately expenses, then do your math and notice while you're being ripped off. you could in no way on your targets purchase genuine rotors for $one hundred.00. And exertions for any self respecting broking is genuinely not decrease than $one hundred. in keeping with hour. yet of direction cheapie brake factors are constantly obtainable if that's what you like. As to the $220. oil provider, remember that a BMW Oil provider isn't the comparable as an Oil replace. maximum sellers usually do the oil replace, reset the provider era, regulate the handbrake, then do a speedy checkup of the automobile to incorporate fluids, brakes, tires, etc. yet once you think of it rather is in simple terms too plenty, and you in simple terms want an oil replace, then you definitely might desire to constantly do it your self or bypass to the closest Jiffylube or EZlube.
