Yes, it is very good. The jury is not out yet... but the price of the AMD Turion is certainly worth a closer look. Keep reading the reviews and check some benchmark tests.

If you can't decide, based on your personal bias or loyalty.
Then consider the SYSTEM. Look for a motherboard that you would buy, and configure the system around that. Pick the RAM, pick the processors, then ADD up the price and decide from the two systems that you configure.
But if you were just going to buy DELL anyway, then get the Intel Dual Core.

That is not a dual core processor no, dual core technology operates at 3.4ghz and above, 2.0ghz is an average speed for a computer now.
