We haven't had a cat for years but we've still got the cat-flap. I noticed it the other day and now I can't forget it. Should I seal it up or get another cat?

Has another cat come along who wants you?

Do you really want another cat? They're a very long term investment and if they die then it causes a lot of heart ache.

Cat flaps can also be a security risk so be careful! Not to mention that other cats could come into your house and soil your carpets!!!

I guess it all depends on how you feel about the commitment to a cat for so many years and to be honest if the only reason you get a cat is to put the cat flap to some use then I wouldn't get one. If however you're getting a cat because it would bring you pleasure and companionship then go for it. Cos cats rock!

You'll regret either decision eventually. There will be good times when you think you've made the right choice, and there will be bad times when you wonder if things would be better if you had chosen differently. Whether you get a cat or seal the flap, they will both be around as reminders of the path not taken. So, get a new door instead.

You had a cat - means you like cats. You have a flap- you have the means to give a cat joy. Go and treat yourself to some p*ssy.

Depends on circumstances...

Do you enjoy holidays? How old are you?, etc...

Any pet needs feeding, love, time.. In these days of long work hours and lots of holidays, pets can be an inconvenience...

On the other hand - there's nothing better (Well lots of things are better, but hey - give me a chance;) than having your little buddy (Cat or Dog) greet you when you get in, make a fuss of & generally make you think of other things apart from work, etc...

Stress releavers...
