I mean seriously, they suck! Mark Hoppus is WAY cooler, and I think Plus 44 will be better!

I used to like Blink 182 in my younger days, until I went to see them live and was extremely disappointed by their performance. That aside, I think Mark Hoppus can make a way better band than Tom DeLonge. I always hated hearing the Blink 182 songs that he sang most of, because something about his voice grates my ears. It's a cross of some whining, snide, New Yorkish accent that I can't stand. Even though the beats and lyrics of the songs of his new band are great, I can't stand listening to him because of his voice. It feels like just another Blink 182. I think Mark is a better vocalist, and I'm looking forward to see what he produces.

Blink 182 is AMAZING.. they are my favorite band and I love Tom Delounge.. although when I bought and then listened to Angels and Airwaves CD "We Don't Need To Whisper" I was majorly dissapointed.. I like the more punk/rock sound that he has in Blink 182..and ya Mark Hoppus KICKS some major AS.S as does Travis Barker!! I haven;t heard Plus 44 but will have to check them out = )

I like angels and airwaves. I think Tom Delonge was just trying to go with a more mature futuristic sound for his new band and course his new band isn't going to sound like blink 182 it would be kind of wierd if they did.

Well, I quite like AVA.. although to be honest they lack the comedic value of Blink182 and they don't have the edge that Boxcar Racer did. I guess as long as he is following his dreams and not cashing in on a fad then people should just be happy for him?
Then again, surely he has enough money not to be cashing in on something?
