that helped my opinion be more open minded.
Once upon a time I said to a Roman Catholic man that I thought abortion was murder & he said regardless of our viewpoints we do not have the right to impose them upon another human being. An abortion is a personal thing. If you do not like abortions then advocate more sex education & planned parenthood but introduce that thought to many they will not accept that. Is it right to bring a child into this world who will suffer & die a terrible death who is born with a terrible birth defect I understand abortion from that aspect. Also if a woman's life is threatened & also the unborn child's when she has five children all ready to care for is it more humane to allow both the mother & child to die. I know of a woman locally in the news who had many children after repeated tubaligations to the point her husband had a vasectomy & she had parts of her tubes removed. A man I know had a wife in nursing school they used multiple forms of birth control

I am not sure what your qustion is here, but he was right. I am a Unitarian Universalist, and I believe in mutual tolerance and respect for diversity. I also believe that a man doesn't really have any business telling a woman what she should do with her body. And I also believe that some people are pro choice and some people are pro life. Whatever the case, no one has any business telling someone what medical decisions they should make for themselves. Right, wrong, or whatever you think, it is their choice and you should respect it.

I agree that there should be more information and support provided to the Nation/World surrounding preventative methods to pregnancy.

I have mentioned I am pro-choice simply because I believe that a woman should have the choice to do with her body what she wants. I do hate abortion and the thought of the little ones being killed.

The reasons for abortion in my mind are obsolete. Rape, defects, poverty, too many kids.....give a woman a choice regardless of the reasoning. A defected baby is still a real live baby. A rape baby, did nothing to the mother....I know of an Awesome Preacher with a fantastic worldwide children's ministry, who is a rape baby. Too many kids...lock up the momma, don't punish the baby.

I have been pro-choice for years. I work in an adolescent, residential treatment facility. Two years ago on Christmas Eve a fifteen year old girl had an abortion that was paid for by Medicaid. (Whether religious people see it or not, federal funds are used to pay for birth control and abortions. The methods are cheaper than raising a child.)

What if the child was conceived as a result of incest or rape? Would adoptive parents want to raise a child of a rapist, whom they know no lineage about, except the father is a perpetrator of sexual assault? I see that all the time too.

Margaret Sanger was one of eleven children who saw her mother suffer physically due to child birth and no birth control. She started Planned Parenthood and was arrested for her beliefs and actions.
Birth defects and when a mother's life is threatened are also good reasons to have an abortion.

Sex education does NOT advocate sexual activity. I have seen first hand, if a child wants to have sex, he/she will do it no matter what.
If people want to help stop children and teenagers from having sex , look right at the media, the source of sex and eating disorders!!!!!

I have seen people get pregnant after having tubals. They did a cesarean on a lady and both tubes looked totally tied. No way could we see how she got pregnant. No 3rd tube hiding there. Yet she had a baby. She did not seek abortion and the new man in her light was delighted with a new son his only child and he was in his 60's You never know what God has planned for you. But you know he thought it over well.

I am a prolifer. I have seen people use abortion as means of birth control not because their birth control failed but because they were to lazy to do that.
