I went to my gyno becuase I was having painful intercourse and had horrible periods....for years this went on and I thought it was normal. Dr. checked things and determined things were not normal. She advised taking birth control as hormone therapy (yes, I'm 33 and have never been on bc...eek!). I take only the white ones to avoid the cycle. I am on my third month and I am bleeding. The first 2 months I didn't even spot, now I am having a real cycle....but not as bad as before. Is this bad news?

First of all, did your doctor determine you have endo from doing an actual laporoscopy? I only ask because I was told for years I had it, and then I had a lap and found out I had pelvic congestion syndrome instead. That said, if you don't feel the bc is doing for you what you think it should do for you, you might want to talk to her about a) switching to a different kind of bc or b) having an eblation done, where they burn off the endo (surgically, via another lap) the endo eblation lasts only around 2 years (it grows back) but some people claim it's doing good things.

Also, if you're spotting (which I think is what you're saying?) there could be other problems, including being on the wrong level of bc, an infection, or something completely different (cysts? fibroids?) Since it's just the third month, I wouldn't freak out yet... but if you're worried, definitely call. Sometimes people need to try two or three kinds of bc before they find the one that works for them. Good luck!

No you are fine.
I take bieth control pills and have a period that I need to use a tampon about only once every six months or so sometimes longer sometimes once a month for two or three months.
I just figure when I do not have one it was a great month.
I take the pill for endometreosis.

If you have had a symptom before and can recognize the symptoms, you can treat yourself at home with medicines such as fuyan pill you can buy without a prescription. if the condition becomes severe, you had better make an appointment with your doctor.
