I would go to family first, then church, then the city fund for such things, and then if I still couldn't get help I would go to a cafe and ask for the food and work for it. NO I would never sell drugs or myself. My daughter thinks it is ok to be a dancer one or two nights a wk to support her boys. I think she is selling herself(just looking-no touching!) and lowering her self esteem more. She was a great girl but married a fool who beat it all out of her and she finally left him but she is just the shell of the girl she once was. She is smart but doesn't think so anymore.She was very popular and involved in everything in school but now she is alone except for me and her kids. You wouldn't be doing your kids a favor by selling drugs! You could get them killed or yourself the first time and then where would you be?

I actually know a person that was in this same situation - sold drugs - got busted. Huge fines and other things not to have to do jail time. Not worth it.

I for one would never rule out doing questionable things to provide for or protect my kids...IF it was a last resort..and i would never point a finger at those that do.
