Cracker, honky, white-bread and all those other racist terms I have black people slam at me. Does it make me mad? Nope. Not in the least.

So why is it the *N* word really rips black people? I mean they use it on one another and yet if a white person uses it, then they want to kill him. Talk about double standards and walking with noses up in the air - thats hypocritical in my book.

By the way - I do not use the *N* word on black people.., in an effort to maintain some aire of being civil and has nothing to do with being politically correct. Even so, I find it more insulting that they try to insult us with these words useless labels but do not want white people calling them anything derogatory.

You can't stamp out racism that way. To stop racism, it has to stop at EVERYONE'S Front door without immunity or regard to race or color or age or gender or bank account. or political standing.

I don't think I have ever heard anyone actually call me a cracker.... that's so funny..... where did that name originate from anyway? What made the guy who made that up think of cracker?!? hahaha

It wouldn't bother me, I'm too proud of my heritage to be offended by something so ignorant!!

No, I like crackers. I figure as far as racial slurs go, this one isn't that bad. I'd be more insulted by being called "tofu". That stuff tastes like crap!

Besides, why would I be offended that they are showcasing their ignorance? They should be embarrassed/ ashamed to call me that. Just as I have enough knowledge, and sensitivity not to call people of other races _________ (insert racial slur here). If they want to announce to the world that they are uneducated, immature and insensitive, who am I to stop them? I'm mature enough to ignore people of such finite intelligence.

Yes I do, so when I hear someone say cracker, I come right back and say N----- (Insert N word here) even though I'm in no way prejudice, I take everything personally.

I live on the Mexican border. The name here is nor cracker, it's Gringo. I call myself a gringo and it gets a chuckle and stops insults immediately. Comments from you like,"Well this Georgia cracker" thinks............ will cool any situation down and bring friendship to the fore. When people use racial slurs they mean to antagonize. When you turn the tables on them, their small minds get confused.

I didn't even know what that was until I was 27 years old. A 12 year old kid called me "cracher' this summer at summer school. I stopped him in the hallway and told him to define that word. He said white. I told him it meant uneducated white and since he didn't know the term, he better come up with a new derogatory term because I have a master degree. He didn't call me names anymore. Education is the great emancipator.

No because I'm proud of being white and not a baby like some black people are. Although if a person from other race said it to people I would have to hurt them.

No because I am black. But i don't call any white people crackers because it would make me mad if a white person called me '***** or ******'. It just depends on who is calling you what
