that sucks,. I feel so bad for you. The baby should be sleeping for way longer streches at night. You must be breastfeeding? when my son was 4 months old, he would cry after only 2 hours of a nap and i let him cry and finally after day 3, no more crying and he slept for 3 to 3 and a half hours for his nap and he was much better off. less cranky and more happy. he is now 7 months old. the crying thing works. do not tend to their every little cry.

Since your baby is only three months, ask your doctor about the rice cereal / oatmeal. I have to use it since my little one has acid reflux and needs to keep the food down. It sounds like you might be breastfeeding. If you are try pumping during the day and let the partner bottle feed. Or if you are comfortable with it, make one feeding a formula feeding.
I would for sure talk to your doctor if you feel that the baby is eating too often. He or she may have some suggustions. Some babies do eat every couple of hours.
One thing for sure. Rest when the baby does. You may only sleep for an hour or so, but you do get rest. My little one is two months and I know how hard it is to rest when they do, esp. when you have things to do.

Keep baby awake longer in afternoon. Play to keep awake, give baby a bath. If you can cut out one of the naps and feed baby 1/2 hour before sleep you should be able to catch an extra hour or two of sleep. As baby gets older and can eat more solid foods they will sleep longer. I put a lil cereal in our daughters bottle at about 4 monthes. But she always slept at night for us. I would say around 5pm or six no more naps until nine or ten.

Many babies are like this. Some have colic others don't. Babies were used to being inside you so when they fall asleep they feel like you are no longer there especially if you put them in a bassinet or a crib. My daughter was like this, But my son slept through the night. Try getting the baby a sllep melody music box for it's crib and play it every night keep it on and don't turn it off. I think Fisher price sells it; it has fish and looks like an aquarium!

unfortunally that is the way it is with babies that age.It needs to be fed that often, so he wakes up. make sure that if you are breastfeeding him that he gets all the milk he needs. do not make him suck more than ten minutes on each side, he will not get more milk if you let him there half an hour.
As time goes by he will sleep more and more, but now you have to try to go on.
A good way for you to get some sleep is to take the milkout of your breast and put it on a bib. (there are special pumps on the market to suck the milk out) Than you can set up shitfs with your man so that you wake up once every 4 hours instead of two.
when your husband's turn, he will feed your baby with the milk sucked before and you will be sleeping two extra hours...
good luck..
things will get better on the months ahead

You should be nearing the end of this horrible part of new-parenthood. My husband and I took turns getting up at night, so that we could each get at least four hours sleep. If you are still nursing, you should be able to pump and have your husband give your baby a bottle. I wish you the best of luck!

Sounds like your baby has lots of gas problems that are settled inside him/her....collack maybe..You should try laying your baby down on your arm while your standing up swing him slightly and patting his back slowy ..you could sing a song or play some music with him...His position on your arm should be reverse ..his head towards your forearm and your hand cupping him the crotch area with his legs dangling freely!! This will help and release the gas or discomfort too!! Good luck!!

Do you put rice cereal in his/her botte before he goes to sleep at night? You may wish to try that. At 3 months he should take 1 tablespoon per ounce of formula. Or you may wish to increase how many ounces he/she is getting at night. Good luck! I know it is hard but eventually he will fall into a pattern!

Maybe the baby needs some oatmeal or rice cereal added to the last feeding before bedtime. That would help a little. But ask your pediatrician first if it's ok to introduce solid foods now.'

My mom always kept the baby in bed next to her. When the baby cried, she would insert nipple in mouth and go back to sleep. If the baby really cried, my parents would take turns walking the hallway. When I got a puppy (I know, poor comparison) who would never sleep, she said--This is what new mothers learn: you sleep any time the baby sleeps. Worked successfully for her for 5 babies.
