1Does new verson come with automatic full scan build into matiance somewhere? Last 5 Firday nights full scan started, neadless not by me. Each time coings back no problems.
2 When this happens go play solitair till scan is complete, Is this safe to do? If such scheduled maintaince exist can timing get changed? Thank for any informitive answer

Yes, the Norton Antivirus programs itself to start at 8pm every Friday. Open the program, and you will see this setting on one of the screens.

You CAN simply minimize the scan and continue your solitare playing.

You DO want your Norton Anti-virus to do it's weekly scan, and you can CHANGE this to a time when you are planning to have the comptuer turned on.

Check your Anti-virus program weekly!

You should do regular scans that,s for sure to keep your computer trouble free but you can go in and change the schedule of the time that it runs to a more convenient time.

hi, that maybe a virus, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
