Moral they will govern your behavior and the correct principals will automatically follow. But if you have high principals it may not always be the best thing. Principals are basically sticking to rules.

A moral principal is moral thought in action.
God laid down the principle for morals with his law. These are 10 Commandments of God and his statutes along with their ordinances for living healthy and smart and wise in good righteous living all together. These can be found in the Books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, The Instruction book of Human Living, the Holy Bible. Later in the New Testament he, Jesus added two More to the moral code of conduct. After that Peter and Mark and Paul and John added to moral conduct for every believer.
So you see the principles are the written word and the Moral is the convection of that word. This moral action calls us Believers in the Word whom is Jesus, The Christ.

(Hbr 5:12) For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
(Hbr 6:1) Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
(3 Jo 1:11) Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
(Jam 4:17) Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.

I think Morals.
Why? Because they are universal. You can take a good moral compass and make the just and right decision to any predicament. This is important because life is not black and white, its shades of grey and morals help navigate the right course through life.
Pricipals are specific to certain situations, and are mostly not applicable to different parts of life. And when a new situation in life comes about it is hard to find the right choice. Its too stiff for the world.

you'd have to define, "good". i think it's a good principle to hide the bodies of one's murdered victims (it's an EXAMPLE, kids!). not everyone would agree... exactly. principles can be odd things. some think it the best principle to live by no principle, including the principle of living by no principle. i, personally, think that morals aren't knowable, and that one should live by a set of principles that keeps them out of trouble. still, i get in trouble, attempting to figure out these principles. i get in trouble for sticking to principles that differ from others' priciples. it's a quandary.
