A ***** lady told me there are some plug gages that ascend in size over a six month period, allowing the lobe skin to stretch. She said the initial piercing was the only painful part.

I started out w/ the regular old gun piercing I got when I was 5 which was like an 18/20 gage. I have now gaged up to a 10 gage. You have to "gage" your lobes. You stretch the hole, put the jewelry in and wait for it to heal. The larger you go the longer it takes between stretchings. You can get a large hole taken out of the center of your ear where it is cartilage, but you have to find a piercer w/ a punch. I would think that it would be very painful. Stretching is not bad. Your ear stays hot for a while and that's about it.

it's not pierced that way, you have to stretch the hole. like say you got your lobe pierced with a 14 Gauge and you want a 0. you would go gauge sizes, 14 12 10 8 6 4 2 0. A rather painful process but looks kick *** when your done go to a local tattoo/body piercing parlor and ask about the gauge sizes.

Yeah, you start with a small normal hole, 16 (or 14?) gauge then you put a spacer the next larger size in it and stretch it, leave it for a while then get the next larger size until the hole is the size you want.

You can't just pierce your ears that way, you have to get them pierced and then gauge them. Gauges come in different sizes, and you start with the smallest size and go up. I was thinking of doing mine just a little bit, but I only have one set of piercings on my ear lobes and if I did that I wouldn't be able to get them back to normal again.

Firstly, these earrings (plugs) are so unattractive! Secondly, you start with a regular piercing, and work your way up to whatever size you want. Your ear stretches each time you put a larger plug in. Eww and ow, in my opinion. Especially being a girl, I would advise against doing it. Just get regular piercings. They look sooo much better. :) Don't ruin your natural beauty!

It starts out with a regular hole then you add larger and larger posts to stretch out the hole until you can slap a big fake ruby in there

you get it pierced regularly and then gauge it by putting in thicker earings and pretty soon you'll have 'em at 1/2 inch [ the bigger the number size the smaller the hole ;) ]

Don't!!! Looks hedious!!!
Anyway, they progressively stretch it. They pierce a small hole and then they gradually put wider studs. Over time it stretches the hole.
Just make sure you really want it. You know, It requires plastic surgery whenever you decide to re-attach your earlobe back to normal.

Oh, all they do is pierce a normal size hole in them. Then you have to put bigger and bigger earings and the holes will gradually get bigger.
