This is ruining our Economy & has gone too far. Whats it coming to when terrorist plot to blow up 10 planes & are still allowed to stay in the country. There are just too many & is getting increasingly difficult to get a job.

yea its about time we stop bothering about what everyone else thinks and say no enough is enough, bloody hell we are only a small country the only reason people come here is because they get everything handed to them on a plate, and now look your so called next door neighbour preparing to blow you up

No it's not ruining our economy - since it's not our economy anyway - it belongs to multi national corporations, the City, businessmen who are happily exploiting us all - immigrants or not. The problem we really have is a lack of a political alternative to capitalism. The working classes are well and truly under the thumb. Maybe if we all - immigrant and Brit alike got ourselves organised instead of bickering and whingeing about competition for jobs and services etc then we could do something positive for a change.
It's been too long without any decent opposition in this country, maybe a pan European movement would scare the sods out of their arrogant complacency. They're are ripping the p*iss out of us at the moment.

I don't think we can blame your failings on immigrants, though it would make you feel better.
I do think that immigration should be controlled, Immigration should be based on skills and abilities the person can offer.
And in a lot of case people that immigrate to the UK are helping the British out. The UK hospitals are facing a problems as not enough people want to be NHS nurses, but the problem is solved by allowing Filipino nurses (and in some cases doctors) to come and work in NHS hospitals.
You also cannot confuse immigrations issues with issues of terrorism, they are two different issues. And in many cases the people arrested were born and raised in the UK, so hardly immigrants.

The problem is not the number of legal immigrants into this country. The legal ones that we let in have to go through a process where by which we can have some control. We know who those people are and why they are here. The problem is the number of illegal immigrants that are sneaking into this country. They are the ones over which we have no control. They are the ones who we don't know. This country was built for and by immigrants. It is this melting pot of diversity that has made this country the best country in the world and I would not want to stop extending a hand to those individuals who want to come to this country, legally, in order to carve out a better life for themselves. God Bless America!!!!!

Sadly, I have to agree though, our land is now being leached dry by these people. Our dollars are made here and then shipped overseas to infuse other economies.
And our government is too stupid to see that it is happening, and that they are, in many cases, sanctioning it.
THe real war is going on all around us, and we're losing. Our Economy is headed for a depression the likes of which we've never seen before. Not even the depression of 1929 will compare.

of course no one in america wants terrorists to stay in this country and i believe out government is looking for them big time..
there are however, many people from many countries that are not evil and are in this country for good reasons and they do not want to cause us harm, i believe the good people are trying to right and trying to live like all people want to live....at the beginning of this country, all the people that came here were immigrants from many country's and this is what united might mean in the " united states"........
the job market is bad, yes, but why blaqme it on the immigrants, there are many factors to the economy problems, unemployment problems and a thousand other problems that we have.....

check your history mate were all immirgrants at one point or other as a race. If we hadnt let foriegners into this contry the econemy would have colapsed by now. Who built the underground in London. Who clean alot of our Hospitals, all the jobs the so called white man wont do. Get an edjucation!

When the government estimates 15000 people coming from Poland but the actual figure is 600000. Then the government are incompetent. and should be replaced. There is nothing wrong with immigration and there nothing wrong with immigration quotas. When they estimate 15000 then the quota should have been 15000 there is no way that 600000 poles are fleeing oppression they are economic migrants.

We have a legal way to enter this country just like your ancestors did. The problem is the ones that enter illegally and the liberal left don't want to stop them because they need votes.
