Lets say you have 5 people, and you are the leader / manager of the group. You are faced with a project that needs to be completed, but you know can only be completed through teamwork.

1st step: Identify those in the group who have the strongest attributes necessary to finish the project. Also as important, identify those that you know will need that extra push.

Different people need to be motivated more than others, and in different ways. The success of the manager is harnessing the strengths of the strongest link while maximizing the participation from the weakest link.

Even the weakest link helps form the chain. This is what most managers miss.

2nd step: don't micro manage. It's ok to sit back and let the "team" do it's thing. Your job as the group leader / manager is to oversee...and correct, motivate & discipline when needed.

Good luck!

This is like answering how to achieve world peace. Everyone has his own opinions but whether the opinions really matters, that's the more important question.

I believe a dynaimc team needs a dynamic leader and a pool of capable people for the leader to pick his team member from. How the leader engage with his team would greatly influence how well the team performs. There are also external circumstances on the team, such as the corporate environment and spirit of innovation, which all needed consideration.

To truly answer this question, I think more questions need to be asked before going ahead to start a dynamic team.
