no dont get LG get Gateway or a Apple. Gateways are good a freind of mine has had his gate way for allmost 4 years now and hasnt had any problems. but get a Apple there the best. dont get a HP Pavilion dv4000 there crap not worth $1,100. go with Mac !

LG?I have an Ibook, which Apple doesn't make anymore. But there's the MacBook and MacBook Pro. Or the G4 notebooks.

I have to say Dell. Mine has NEVER given me problems and i treat it like crap(I'm not too good at taking care of things). On the outside you can tell just how good I take care of it (lol) but all the features still work good as new and it's almost 3 years old.

Depends on what your going to be using it for. Your going to have to look at the weight, the batter life. etc........... It all depends on how and what your going to be using if for..
