Talk to your local Child Care office, or contact the Department of Child Welfare to find out what your options are.

You would have to be certified as a mental health professional in order to care for such kids. Or - depending on the situation - at least be a college grad. Some states - mine included - are cutting back on such services and trying to place kids with other family members.

Good luck! It's a demanding but rewarding field if you can get into it!
