Well, your body is being touched by the sky right now. Oxigen and Nitrogen, the main gases of our atmosphere, are surrounding us all the time. You see the sky in blue because of the gas interactions with light, but that does not mean it only exists on very high altitudes. Besides, the term sky doesn´t say much, does it? and so it leaves a lot of room for interpretations. You can touch it, but you can´t feel it because it is not dense enough

Science view: wea re always touching the sky! The atmosphere that you see way above you is the same atmosphere (generally) that you see down here. It may have diffrent compositions of gasses (Ozone is concentrated way up there, but you run into it down here too) It is constantly pressing its weight down on you, at 14.7 pounds per square inch to be exact. So it is actually touching YOU!

No, the sky is part of denser gaseous zone of planet's atmosphere. That's what makes the surface looks blue. We can't physically touch the sky, but we touch it in metaphysical sense, for example, riding in the rocket past the atmosphere.

You can touch the sky when you die or drop some 'sid' and listen to Hendrix but my favourite method is astral projection through meditation (after burning a 'fatty' of course)!

No - God does not want us to touch the sky - we tried once to get to Heaven by building a stair way to the sky and God would not let his people built it!@

I do not think so. That is where God resides with his angels etc.

When you die, if you have been a good person (if you are a Christian), or abstained from eating pork (if you are a Muslim or a Jew), you will go there as well.
