My wife gave me a 60th birthday party and invited friends from my past and present . Some I haven't seen for thirty years. My Son from Texas was there with his wife and my two grand children I had never met. The DJ was a friend as was the MC, The food was top draw. everyone danced and no one left early. All of my children , step children from other marriages , brothers, nieces and even an Indian Chief.We were married 20 years
It was truly the happiest day of my life and I didn't have a clue

Ten years before we met, I had owned one of the top car customizing shops in the country, specializing in restoring one particular kind of classic car. She not only remembered, but one day when I was having a particularly tough time at work, she gave me a book on that particular kind of car that I had never seen before. She cares AND she listens (sometimes) - it was SO sweet.

She let me buy the antique muscle car Ive always wanted. Amazed me...i didnt have to hound her to do it, just caught her off-guard one day and she let me.
