I would buy, more like rebuy, man utd because the takeover by the damned Glazer family is not something that the club needs, specially since they are actually in a lot of debt right now. I've been a fan for a pretty long time and feel that if they had more money they mightve been able to get (for example) Tevez and Hargreaves. I mean, every player has a price, and once you give a team that price, no one will turn it down.
Now, that done, I would also buy a team in Iran becuase I'm Iranian, and feel that with better facilities and more access and more hope the potential that we have for football could be put to serious use. After all, nearly every kid plays on the streets and alleys from the times they're about 5, so theres talent that needs to be found. Also, a good coach never hurts.

I would go to andorra and see whats there as they seem to have a passion sadly lacking in England for the tackling game and with only a 116 spectators at some games I could probably buy a club for £250 and their two professionals for double that add 4 or 5 loan players an entry into europe via the intertoto cup and hey a £million pound profit within the year.

I'd buy River Plate from Argentina.
I know is not what you asked, but let me give you a list of players that have started their career in this club and then were sold to other clubs for millions and millions of dollars:
Hernán Crespo
Javier Saviola
Esteban Cambiasso
Ariel Ortega
Marcelo Gallardo
Pablo Aimar
Javier Mascherano
Juan Pablo Sorín
Diego Placente
Roberto Bonnano
Matías Almeyda
Fernando Cavenaghi
Julio Cruz
Marcelo Salas (Chilean)
Juan Pablo Angel (Colombian)
Just imagine how much money would you make producing and selling these world class players in such a short term...

Some small club like Barnet or Lincoln City and really build it up to the premiership. Money would not be the problem, convincing the players into transfers would be the headache.

It wouldn't really matter to me which club I buy, because if I was a multibillionair I'd be able to buy any player, I would probably buy someone form the first division. I think I would buy Sunderland because Roy Keane and Dwight Yorke are both coaches there.

i am what you would call a plastic man utd fan if you were polite lol but saying that i would invest my money into my home club(walsall) its one of the biggest towns in england in populaition but has never really been a big noise in football. you have villa west brom and wolves grounds all close to walsall? i would buy walsall fc then extend the ground then put money into the team and when our homefolk realise that our town has a club to be proud of the fans should come running? and if they didnt it wouldnt matter cos im loaded anyway lol

I support Man Utd. But I would buy West Ham, buy a lot of great players and when Sheringham would finally quit I would hire him as the coach.
