I just wouldn't want him to get mad if I started talkin to others online

Jen, I'm married with two kids and I talk to lots of people online. My wife is aware I do that. Talking online to some people can actually reduce stress. It gets you away from the daily life that might be burdening.

u should ask him if it's ok if u get online the way he did. if he forbide u, then tell him ur argument that u only want to get new friends and u wont cheat on him. because relationship is based on trust and effective communication.
