Once again they showed that they're a bunch of over blown egos who probably couldn't even spell the word TEAM nevermind play like one. lmfao

All of players on the USA basketball team played selfishly, they played individual basketball instead of team basketball. Most international teams have of players who have played with each other for years. They have team chemistry. The USA team is comprised of superstars (D-wade, LJ, Anthony), who have huge egos and are very selfish. USA needs more role players (Battier, Bowen). They need team chemistry. Also USA needs to work on the three point shooting. They seriously suck. Look at all the other international teams, they all excel at the three point shot. Good Luck to the USA at the Bronze medal game Argentina, Argentina won the gold medal at the 2004 olympics and they lost to spain only by a point. If the USA truly wants to win the bronze at the world championships they are going to have to play like a TEAM!!!

As a Greek I feel proud since our team managed to win the best team, worldwide! How did they do it? By doing the unexpected, again! Greeks are good in that! Maybe the same team, after some time might loose to an inferior team! And this is the role of the games (like wars, etc.)! Not always the most capable, stronger wins! Last night the Greek water polo team wan against Germany!

It's funnier to see how some people kept whining about how US didn't send the "best players" to the competition. To do so they include Shaq and Kobe on the list. If Shaq and Kobe were on the same team again, team USA will go out in the first round LOL. Now that will be really funny.

Sorry - I expected the upset and I think Greece will take the whole thing.

A lot of Greeks grew up watching and wanting to be Michael Jordan. Guess what, their dreams came true by defeating the heirs to Air Highness.

It was working great unitl they had to defend the 3 point line, and a offence that actually put some points, Greece does not even have an Nba player on their roster!! As i said they are Red, white, Brusied.

Did you even watch the whole game?

Its not their fault! Its the coach fault..

Coach K went small in the 3rd Qtr.. That's where they got pounded!!

And yeah.. This USA team is on a rebuilding mode. This not even the actual team yet.. This was just an experiment, or a taste of what other countries are goin to expect in USA in Beijing 2008..

Kobe Bryant, Chauncy Billups, Amare Stoudemire, etc.. are not even on yet..

Judge our performance on Beijing 2008.. Then you could talk..

We had to loose, in order for us to learn. When you loose, you become more hungrier and stronger!!

You guys are way behind in this. Canada has seen this happen in hockey starting 50 years ago. No gold medal in Olympic hockey from '52 to 2002. Egads!

whats so funny about that? its just clear that the rest of the world is catching up in terms of basketball... if not only for the big salaries and world wide fame, these nba players would be like any other players playing at the FIBA world championships

What's hilarious about it? Greece played the game of their lives.
This is the victory they have been dreaming about. Hard work brings success.

Joy to the Greeks, well done.
