Macs are the bomb!

Macs:

Produce higher quality graphics and websites
The computer itself has a much better look
I have never had a virus
Plus you can always get "virtual PC" to run PC software
I have never had a crash
Upgrades are less expensive
Not as many updates or "fixes"
Don't support Microsoft :-)

there are a number of things:

1) Price - this is largely a hardware thing. Macs are not nearly as modifiable as a PC is.

2) Software/OSes. PCs can run any number of operating systems - Windows, Linux (most flavors), Unix, BSD, etc. pretty much anything except OS-X. Macs can only run OS-X (or previous versions) and, if you bought a new system with the intel chip that allows this, Windows.

3) Graphic editing software and music editing software is cheaper for Macs (Photoshop especially).

The virus issue is somewhat misleading. There are two main reasons you are more likely to find a virus made for Windows than for Macs - 1) PCs have a larger market share. 2) Windows software does have some inherent flaws, but these are negated if you don't use Windows on a PC (which also can drop the cost of the PC by $200).

There are more differences, but these are the basics.

A PC mostly allows the use of different operating systems
A MAC only as far as I know, uses the MAC OS X operating system

A PC is pretty good for just about everything.
A MAC is damn good for graphics design as well music.

Before, the MAC had only MAC only type of hardware, now it's starting to converge with PC hardware. Soon you can buy and install MAC OS X on a PC. We can only hope! I'm not ditching my PC just yet, still has good use until that time comes.

Viruses are more prevalent in the PC side than the MAC side due to hatred believed to be caused by Microshaft.

Really there is not much dif anymore. The price is about the same not enough dif to tell on that part. Either is over prices when it comes out.

There maybe a little more software for the PC but I really don't think that is enough to matter anymore either.

I don't think you would really notice unless you like to play with the interworkings of the system.

Any software you need for either you can just download from the net so one is just as good as the other. You can look at a picture on a mac that you made on a pc or the other way around.

Don't matter what do you like Chevy or Ford? Up to you. both drive the same.

Quality. Macs are superior in every way, hands down.
