The last part of your question is just wishful thinking. As long as there are men on earth hell bent on destroying any and everything, the world doesnt stand a chance. And these men wont be happy til they do exactly that. The only chance that earth has lies with our kids and hopefully they will learn from their parents mistakes because we sure arent going to save her. The need for greedy power and money will make sure of that. Personally I think God is sick and tired of destroying his beautiful earth to solve mankinds problems but will send a child that will grow up and save the earth by making mankind realize their mistakes and eventually correct their evil ways.
