well i somewhat disagree with the above answer.
Myspace allows you to customize your profile with images and coding that doesnt come from with the default myspace page.

I went to the page and chose home, and it took me to the actual myspace website.

what this guy could be doing is using a webhost outside of myspace to keep his custom profile. in his actual myspace profile all he needed to do was create the link. that way he has his custom layout, music and pictures. its a common practice with ppl using myspace.

just make sure that if you are going to log into myspace, that the beginning of the web address you are inputting your name and password to begins with http://www.myspace

it seems that the custom website he was using to host his layout, created something called a frame where the top half of the site stays at the first website so you have to endure the commercials brought by that site yet continue to browse the myspace website. if you check the source of the home links and all the other links, as well ad the log-in code, they all point to valid myspace links. this is a good example of webiste hijacking at its best.

you are on a popular website but since you came from a seperate website, it hijacked the myspace website, leaving its money making commercials as you continue to browse the www.

with some digging, this is what i dug up. proving that this guy isnt some lame web hacker trying to steal your password.

No idea.

PS: Myspace is so lame! It is such a waste of time!

MySpace is lame, now

There is a Dr Seuss story about people who have stars on their chest, they had become special, the elites, and then there was everyone else, the masses. The masses eventual found a way to get stars too and that rocked the whole social class system. Then the originals found a way to get rid of their stars and it become cool not to have a star.

That’s how I feel about myspace

It means that some website is trying to steal your password (or already did)... watch your bulletins, if you see any that you know you DIDNT post, change your password.
