The Great Depression was a worldwide economic downturn, starting in 1929 (although its effects were not fully felt until late in 1930) and lasting through most of the 1930s. It centered in North America and Europe, but had damaging effects around the world. The most industrialized countries were affected the worst, including the United States, Germany, Britain, France, Canada, and Australia. Cities around the world were hit hard, especially those based on heavy industry. Construction virtually halted in many countries. Farmers and rural areas suffered as prices for crops fell by 40-60% [1] Mining and logging areas were perhaps the hardest hit because demand fell sharply and there was little alternative economic activity. The Great Depression ended at different times in different countries; for subsequent history see Home front during World War II.

There was a big stock market crash in 1929. This was a result of the banks making money (gold and silver) scarse as part of their plan to make us use paper money created by them. The depression began about then and lasted until about the beginning of World War Two (1941) so usually the great depression is reguarded in America as occuring during the 1930s.
The whole world suffered a depression, and how it affected you depended a lot on where you were. In USA, folks who owned their own farms hardly knew the difference, except not much cash money around.

Ok, i've lost my job and will even lose my condominium. However there may be one thing for a fact. Everybody today expects everything and we feel like we are in the excellent depression. It is a shaggy dog story relatively. Here is a query for us all. Are there one thousand tents in principal park filled with households whose husbands depart the tents at 5 to stand in line for bread and probably milk. DO you see people working shoveling snow with holes in their shoes. We are not even almost being in a satisfactory despair. If we had been than the cable television people would be going out of industry due to the fact that your cable invoice WILL virtually feed a household of 4 if you need to. We don't have any proposal what an actual melancholy seems like, most of us anyway. My bad father and mother cant appear to throw out any junk at all as it is usually required or be a sellable object. They're known as depression babies. Lots of the individuals who are shedding their homes which is of direction a disgrace should now not have been able to get the loan within the first position which is exactly the rationale of this difficulty proper now.

Ok, I have misplaced my process and may also lose my condominium. But there may be something for a reality. Everyone in these days expects the whole thing and we suppose like we're within the nice melancholy. It is a comic story quite. here's a query for us all. Are there a thousand tents in significant park stuffed with households whose husbands depart the tents at five to face in line for bread and possibly milk. DO you spot individuals running shoveling snow with holes of their sneakers. We aren't even practically being in a nice melancholy. If we have been than the cable TV individuals could be going into bankruptcy considering that your cable invoice WILL honestly feed a loved ones of 4 should you have to. We shouldn't have any concept what a truly melancholy looks like, such a lot people besides. My deficient mother and father cant look to throw out any junk in any respect as it can be required or be a sellable object. They are referred to as melancholy toddlers. Most of the individuals who're wasting their houses that's of path a disgrace must now not were equipped to get the mortgage within the first position which is strictly the purpose of this challenge correct now.

This sounds like a homework question, but here goes-
The Great Depression spanned more than just a year. It began in 1929 and ended in 1941 when the United States entered WWII.
Some say it ended in 1938 or 39. The factories in the U.S. started manufacturing war materials (tanks, planes, etc) for countries like England prior to the U.S. entry into WWII (Lend -Lease)
