Whenever it happens to me, I always feel like I've been at that exact time before, at that same place, doing the exact same thing. I always explain away the freakishness by thinking it happened in a dream before.
I also believe in reincarnation, maybe we live the same lives again and again, and some old memories flash back occasionally.

I think de ja vu is when you are doing something and it prompts you to remembering a small part of a dream but its such a small part that you cant remember where or when you had the dream or if it was a dream at all.Im almost confusing myself now but Ive not experienced it for ages but I think its almost spooky when it happens.

it's when the space between the parallel universes is thin,
this causes consecutive realities to merge,
some are similar and cause deja vu.
others arent.
or they could be future echoes.

either precognition or 2 signals racing each other in the brain, one gets their just ahead of the other (micro seconds) and this results in 2 direct moments of awareness instead of 1
