Yes, you can email from Yahoo mail to someone's cell phone. And, typing 1235551212@verizon.net (or .com) is one way. We used to send texts to our techs on the road that way. You'll have to verify their provider first, but it should work.

Easy just have the person using the mobile phone text a message to your yahoo email. Save the sender to your contacts list probably look like 1231234567mms@mycricket.com or something similar; then you can type a text reply message to the phone's user have fun working out the kinks that will likely pop up. You don't e-mail a cell phone. You e-mail an e-mail address. Some people can access their e-mail on their cell phone. You just send the message as you always do. It's up to the person receiving it how they retrieve it.

As long as you have an email address and the person you're sending the email to can check it on their phone, you don't need to worry b/c they will automatically be able to see it on their phone when they check their mail.
