Zelda Link to the past/Four swords GBA?

Question

I have 2 out of 3 pendants. I can get to the dark world and the 3rd castle but I am missing some tools I need to get across the bridge on death mountain, and to access the dark castle to get the 3rd pendant. I need the hammer, and the throw hook to get across the bridge on death mountain. HELP!!!!! Serious I am a Zelda fan and know most of the games pretty well but I can't seem to figure out how to get the hammer so I can get a lilttle farther. If you know what I am talking about please help. (GBA= game boy advance)

You get the mirror by talking to the old man that you led through the cave. Go into the cave that he went into and talk to him. He will give it to you for helping him. Then climb the stairs that are on the left of that scene and you will get to the portal. Once in the Dark World go over to the middle of the bone shaped shadow and use the mirror. This will bring you back into the light world where you can get to the castle. You'll get the hammer in the first castle of the dark world, and the hook in the second castle of the dark world.

you do not need the hammer or the hookshot. they are found in the dungeons with the first crystal, and the sixth crystal (i think)

all you need for the third pendant's castle is the mirror that brings you back from the dark world, nothing more.
