At a camp, one of my friends walked up to one of these guys who none of us knew and called him her "best friend" because he looked like her best friend at school. So, like her I walked up to my real best friends crush and told him I was his new "best friend" so yeah.
SOOO today, I told my friend that I was going to call him to persuade him to like her. He already said not really though. what do I say to him?

That was a little confusing to read, but I think I have it.
You can't necessarily persuade someone to like someone else, feelings are feelings. But, maybe you can brag about her, say nice things.

first of all i'm not sure i follow your story but let me give you some advice... STAY OUT OF IT!!! i tried hooking my best friends up once and now we aren't friends anymore... i won't explain how it ended but if it doesn't concern you then don't get involved... it will only come back to hurt you in the long run if they decide to break up or something and then they might cast the blame on you because you set them up... TRUST ME... DON'T RISK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tell him that she really likes you and really wants to go out with you and if he says he doesnt want to go out with her then just leave it at that because he can only say yes or no. :)
