It means you have deep internal issues you need to resolve. Your subconscience mind is trying to help you to figure out what the heck is going on in your life.

Yes, It's our subconcious minds trying to lead us on the right paths in life. But working out your dreams takes intuition, start by keeping a dream diary and jot down all you remember whether it be a name a place etc, also write down how you feel upon waking. Your mood is an important key to the meaning of your dream, is your dream a scene from real life or does it have a deeper meaning. There are lots of how to interpret dreams books out there have fun searching through them but don't worry too much as Some bad dreams can also have good meanings. A death can mean a new beginning. Going mad can mean the exact opposite, you are extremely intelligent etc etc . The meanings are how you interpret them to be. A cracked rung on a ladder as you climb it can mean no more than watch your step. If you've had a repetitive dream I hope you manage to work it out.
Sleep well.

What is the dream? ;)

I had a dream the other night where I won £300,000 (no such question) on Who wants to be a Millionaire. So what was that about?

It could be your guide talking in symbols? You may have to just interprete it. I like the subconscious approach myself but I do believe dreams have a deeper purpose. To file information and ideas under the surface are being considered.

I only have cheese when I can't sleep. Seems to work, don't dream as a result though...

Yes, it does.

Not a prediction really, but it can often help you find the solution to your current problem. Metaphors play a strong part in dreams, as well as personal significance of certain objects and places.

I grew up by the sea/a lagoon, and many of my dreams take place on the bridge or scout den where I spent a lot of my formative years. A bridge joins two places, where I was and where I will be, and what I do on the bridge decides how I get there ie what I must now do , and what problems I must face.

Never literal, but never really that far from the truth.

I spent a long time learning to interpret my dreams, and a lot of the time I end up saying 'well duh, I KNEW THAT' but sometimes it helps.

Sometimes your mind uses dreams as a form of communication in order to tell yourself something that your subconscious already knows. In other words, dreams can be interpreted to reveal thoughts and emotions that are trying to make a connection to your life. Think about the things that you do, and the people that you see- often your dreams are attempting to communicate a certain "feeling" about those people or places. Sometimes it is a warning, warning you to be cautious of a place, or person that is familiar to you. Is there something going on your your life that you need to sort out? These dreams may continue to plague you until you realize what your subconscious is trying to say.

Everything means something. I have certain places that I dream about. The narrative changes but the setting is the same. And these are sometimes places that I've never actually been to. I would say that if you enjoyed a dream, and think about it in waking, then you'll probably dream it again.

Yes definately!...Look deeper into it, think about your own life and try and connect the two.... See it as a puzzle that only you can solve... Repetetive dreams usually come when you are stressed, worried or anxious about something and disappear once the fear has passed....Having said that, If you have the same repetative dream for a period of years then i think it will occur in reality at a future date.

It could be that you are replaying the dream in order to find meaning in the dream.

It could be that your not "doing the correct thing" in your dream to get past the episode (bit like a computer game)

It could be that your life is repetitive (i.e: going to work everyday), and this thought is a reflection...

Quite possibly. I would consider what the dream is about, and how it might relate to you in an abstract way in waking life.

I.E. Dreaming about a messy room might mean that you think your life is chaotic.

I've heard it could be your sub-conscious trying to tell you something.

Look for some dream websites.

Most definately, I always have repetitive dreams when I'm stressed or worried about something, or at crossroads in my life. I believe dreams are a guide to our inner psyche.

All dreams mean something, they are the language of the unconscious. If you have a repetetive dream then you have on ongoing unresolved issue in your life or your personality that needs to be addressed in order for you to move - on or grow.
