I never can seem to be organized. I have to much stuff and no place to put it! I was wondering what your favorite ways to organize are or is this just a losing battle and I will have clutter and a mess for the rest of my life. (I also have 3 children, another on the way, and a pack rat husband) HELP!!!!!!!!!

1. Delete stuff with a fine-tooth comb. Be tough!
2. Clear an area a little larger than you think you will need. You may have to do some thinning here, too.
3. Put heavy and more needed stuff in easy reach if possible---generally, at a lower level.
4. Use cardboard boxes for smallish, loose stuff of similar things (where possible). Don't load boxes too heavy. Use more boxes. Write large, clear, identifying labels on at least the fronts of them.
5. Use a safe ladder or step ladder for high things. Always set your ladder up facing your load.

I'm with you on that one. Throw out or give away 1/2 of your things. That is a start. Then, find a practical place for everything. If it has a place, then it is just a matter of putting it there.

If you are really desperate and have the money, you can look up a personal assistant/organizer who can help you plan or physically do it.
