It's like raindrop looking marks on my mirror from my new hairspray. I've tried to put some warm soapy water on it, i've tried to windex the heck out of it - just looks like little wet marks. I tried to rub them off, and even my fingernail digging into it won't remove it - any ideas? Thanks muchos!!!

hey, i know this one! you might think i am crazy but shaving cream!!!! i saw this in my local newspaper one time and tried it out of curiosity. use regular shaving cream and rub it into the mirror real good, let it sit for a few minutes and wipe it off with a damp washcloth. clean your mirror with a glass cleaner and you are good to go! i know it sounds crazy (thats why i had to try it) but it really works!

The easiest way to get those little glued on dots is to use windex and a straight edge razor, the type that you use when scraping paint. I use it on mirrors and windows to get those stubborn dots. Just be careful not to scratch the glass of your mirror or windows.

Spray the windex first and then scrape with the blade. I made this a standard cleaning tool in my closet.

You use Paul Mitchell too!

I use HOT water and clorox clean-up OR Vinegar straight up and "wipe" with balled up newpaper instead of paper towels.

I LOVE the hairspray I can even ride on the back of the bike @ 80mph and not have a hair outta place, but the residue sucks!
Experience has taught me to use a clarifying shampoo a couple times a week as well, this stuff does have a tendency to build up no matter how often you shampoo with a regular shampoo.

Don't use a razor blade!! I always put rubbing alcohol on a cloth or in my cleaning solution and that works wonders - my counter tops always got it, too, and that's the only way I could get it off.

Rub some Mayonaise on there (REAL Mayo not Miracle Whip) then use your blow dryer to heat it up for about 2 minutes....then take a cloth that is dampened with rubbing alchohol and it should come right off.

Try using 1 cup of white vineagar, and 1 cup of water. Vinegar is a great cleaner for alot of things. If the vinegar doesn't work, try using ammonia and water mix (half and half)

Fingernail polish remover (acetone) works. If you don't have any, then you can just use a razor blade & scrape it off. A sharp knife works too.
