Sounds reasonable, depends on the size of the yard.
Are you using your mower or theirs? Charge more if you're bringing your own mower.
Push mower or riding? again Push mower is harder work = more pay.
For a "Mid sized" lawn( up to 1/4 acre) including pulling weeds (in flower beds and border gardens) and running weedeater we get $25 using our equiptment.
We leave nothing when we go ( grass clippings, twigs, weeds included)
A push mower is used when it would take less than 5 "sweeps" to mow with a riding mower.
Unless it is your parents/ grandparents lawns...then you be happy with whatever they pay ya cause they are supporting you!

Thats under paid. You should be getting at least $25 to $30 to do the front and back for a mid-sized yard. I'd say closer to $30 if your having to edge or weedeat.

Without knowing your age, and if or not it's your parents lawn, and if or not you live there, I'd say "Thank you"
That $10 for 25 minutes, equates to about $27 per hour,,,not too shabby no matter your age or skills. "Professionals, anywhere would be happy with that amount.

I cut grass on the side and I charge $10.00 per hour. $8.00 per first 30 minutes then $5.00 per 1/2 hour. Any lawn that takes less then 30 min. to cut is $8.00. If it takes 2 1/2 hrs to cut it is $25.00.
Of course with the cost of fuel and upkeep of your equipment you might want to charge more.Good luck.

Mow the carpet. Cut the sidewalk. Mop the grass. Sweep the lawn. That way, he'll think you need an assistant and hire someone else.

Minimum wage with a power mower, add 50% if using a hand-pushed mower. On a slope add another 50% with a pushed mower.

i would ask for more like 15 but it depends on your age. if you are in college and doing it as a more serious job then you can ask for more but if your in high school or even younger then 10 is ample
