right now the range rover is the best one i know of,,as far as lasting,,and dependability,,it also rides and look good,,and has been prov en over all the other ones to better,,the new little hummer is also a good one,but i think best bang for the buck right know,,if i were going to buy one,,it would be the new,, KIA,,,, i like thew way the look,,and also they drive ,,and handle well,,and with a 10 year warranty,,you cant go wrong,,and the price of it,,you can buy two of them for what one of the others cost,,i own a repair shop,,and some of my customers have them,,and so far they have had no trouble from them,,except the usual,,tires,,and oil changes ,and so on,,anyway,,good luck,,i hope this help,s.

just about all suv's are good now a days, they have to go thru strict government standards, for crash test, etc. but my favorite, that is the oldest suv out on the road today is the chevy suburban, the suburban lead the way to suv's, and all the rest copied it, but none really came close to the room, the flex fuel that the new ones offer, the towing capabilities, and the dependability of the suburban. if I were to get a SUV I want to get a brand new Lexux Hybrid they are the only luxury hybrid around they offer many feature. the only complaint they do not offer Satelite Radio yet. maybe the next year model will ofer a Satelite Radio. I wish they have On Star but that only for GM. Someday every vehicles will have to have an on star.

i just trade my old escalade for the new 2007 model if gas is not an issue you can't go wrong lots of room,lots of power and they just look cool.go to their web site and check them out
