because we want an easy answer to everything. And thats not the way it is. There is a grey area when we really try to rationalize why things are the way they are. Be it with family, friends, our job, want to be validated for the efforts that we put forth. Not everything is black and white, it just seems that way sometimes.........

Um... Are you color blind? Everything is not either black or white. Everything is purple, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or a combination of the sort..... Black, white, and gray are shades of color; gray being the shade between black and white........................... I don't understand you're question... When people say something like "The world is black and white" they mean that there are no gray areas. And by that, they mean that the rules are set in stone and cannot be compromised. But the world is not black and white, and there are gray areas, and rules can be compromised... Depending on who you're dealing with. The law is black and white.

Grey is just a tint or shade of white and black. Depends on how much of white or how much black is in the grey.

Well, everything ISN'T black and white. Here's an example. Let's say you are starving. I don't mean that you skipped lunch and really need a snack, I mean...lets say you haven't eaten for days. You have no money, no one to borrow it from and no friends or relatives around, except your little brother who is 6 years old and also starving, and you have to do something to feed him. Do you steal food? What's worse as far as right and wrong goes? Is it wrong to let him go hungry? Yes. Is it wrong to steal? Yes...but you have to choose what to do. In this case, circumstances make the situation grey. You HAVE to choose a bad thing, in order for a good thing to happen. You either DON'T steal...which is good, but then your brother starves...which is bad. If you do steal, you know it's wrong...but your brother will eat.

Not every thing is in black and white or gray for that matter. There is a lot of stuff that is full living color!

Answer to your question...black and white came from narrow minded people. Gray cam from those who can never make up their minds. color came from those who take life by the hand (putting it nicely) and living it the best way they can!

Everything is not black & white. Black is just a very dark shade of grey, while white is just a very light one.

Everything is really just shades of grey, and each shade is determined by whoever sees it.

That is where a lot of people are confused. It is not just black and white. There is a whole spectrum of colors. Just some people think in black and white. Religion for one is totaly black and white and don't even allow for any other colors.

The color Grey is the halfway point in between black and white on the color spectrum. It is just a color that is visible to the naked eye. The origin of this color came from one of God's many creations.
