I would like to get married on an island. Wearing a simple white sundress and no shoes. I think thats more romantic and stress free than the traditional church wedding. This way, the day is based more on the couple rather than pleasing all the guests.

I got married at a Southern Mansion here. I wanted to get married in a church, but I learned a long time ago to listen to the woman. The woman wanted to get married there, so I did. I wouldn't change it for the world, though.

I would get married in the court house, so that I could say the money I would spend on a big wedding for a down payment on a house.

My wife and I were married in the Little Mexican Cantina ( in our neighborhood ) where we met on a blind date. We had a good friend deputized for the weekend so he could perform the ceremony.
The bar was open before the ceremony, and the food was fresh and hot! Folks said it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. It was VERY affordable, so we could save money for other things.

i would suggest 2 places.one you can have an outdoor wedding like at a nice garden park or back yard.another suggestion would be in a nice banquet room and have a wedding planner to decor it the way you want and they'll get some cool designs and let you decide.it's also more affordable then going to other states or countries and have to pay for families airfare and hotel and expenses.

I got married in a small chapel in Gatlinburg TN. I just didn't want to deal with all the conflicts I could see coming. My husband didn't want a huge wedding either. We loved the small private (family only, but still formal and Christian) wedding.

Well i wanted to get married in a church but my did'nt so we got married in a court house .
But i really wanna go to island to renew my vows no matter what .
But wot i fort is aslong as you arw together who cares

Very cool question! Greece by the water with both his and my closest family & friends. It just seems so romantic and fresh.
