I just bought an aloe vera plant today that is overall pretty healthy, but looks like in the past week or so, random people in the plant section decided to rip some ends off. So, is there a specific way to trim it? or just cut below the "problem end" and it'll grow back?
Thank ya.

I live in Central Florida have dozens of aloe plants indoors and out and never "trim"

Your damaged "leaves" will eventually shrivel anyway, so if you want to cut those close to the main body you can. If you aloe is in a pot, it will spread and eventually fill the pot. At a point where the pot looks crowded, gently dump it, take the shoots apart and re pot the healtier of the shoots. The aloe, as most plants grows from the inside out, with new shoots, and it's not uncommon for old, outer shoots to die.

Dont even worry about it...it will grow back fine and send out lots of other seedlings, (babies) in a year you will have more than you need. In Arizona they grow almost like weeds.

leave it alone.. don't cut anything. it 'will' grow more shoots around the problem ones.
