I need to know what the name is of a machine that makes double paned windows, that shoots out a black tarlike substance. Any ideas please.. even if it's just a thought..

Sorry Eddie .The black substance is a sealant. The squiggle is usually a spacer between the two panes made of thin aluminum tube filled with desacant.

Don't consider making your own. They'll never last. Most manufacturers offer at least a 5 year warranty on thermo pane windows but most last longer than 15 years. It's worth the expense (they are fairly priced at most glass shops). By the way, the black tar like substance is called squiggle.
