Midtown? You would be lucky if you found a studio for $2300. Don't expect any extras "nice-ities".
Start looking outside of the midtown area. You will see a big price difference the further out you go. Perhaps look at NJ and Queens NY

depends on a lot of factors, such as which part of Manhattan, the building condition, the size of the studio, the building anemities.
A regular 800SQ ft sudio with nothing included, in Mid town will run you about 2500 a month minimum. And that is the pit of the barrel
