I cannot think of one thing that he has done that was right for this country. From stealing the first election to spending money like there is no tommorow, and everything in between. Best Slam of Bush gets the 10 points.

One thing that he has done is that he has polarized divergent groups against what he is doing. Have to give him that one. The day that Pat Robertson denounces Bush (and backs a democrat in a state race - it happened!) and the mass destruction he has initiated and choreographed with respect to the laws of the land, states rights, the constitution, personal freedom and liberties.....is a day that I never thought I would see.
Bush has instilled a sense of paranoia and hate in the hearts of many and has used that as a rational for his world agenda - and he calls others fascists (I don't think he's looked in the mirror lately). He has turned the US and Great Britain into a 21st century axis of power.
He believes that cronyism is an unalienable right - only for CEOs and rich white men. It's OK in his eyes because he tried to be 'PC' and build his cabinet after Disney's "It's a small world" ride. And build it he did, all they do is sing that infernal song over and over like the little robots on the ride - no original thoughts in that cabinet.

There is not room enough for the remainder of my thoughts....

It is rather odd that this particular statement continues to be repeated.. If Kerry hadn't tried something as illegal and amoral as he did, it would never have gotten to the supreme court.. By the way, that was most definitely not a court sympathetic to the republicans.. they just had to follow what the constitution said, regarding this matter.Yet 7 of the nine voted to uphold the ruling. Further, after all the recounting was accomplished, it was found that Bush picked up even more votes. To further confirm he was the legitimate winner of the election... How you feel otherwise indicates either you are ignorant of the facts or, are still in a dream world. One where you wish things were different.. Feel fortunate that it didn't go the other way..

Last time I asked God, I was told that it was a test.

That the American people were being given the option to choose freedom, or to choose fear and control. Between justification for what we do, and holding true to the law even when it is difficult.

Bush is doing what he thinks best. He is acting as he in his heart believes is what is needed for America. And he is asking people to trust him. He is arguing that there are times when the law is less important than circumstance, and that giving up our personal self-centered freedoms may be necessary for the preservation of the community.

He wants us to choose. Who is more important. The individual, or society. Structure, or freedom. Control and conformity, or tolerating people that you personally hate. That choice is going to be with us for a long time to come, long after this individual is gone.

Choose wisely.

maybe God is trying to humble us... I mean a portion of the country clearly voted for him... most are so pride filled and stubborn, they wouldn't even have any idea what humility is if you asked them what the word meant... or being gracious... or respectful...

God said "you want to be proud and self-righteous... ok... but you won't like what you get"

plumouttamymind: hahaha... that's like a list of everything he has screwed up... except it just calls them "successes"... here's an idea... go ask people in those fields about the bills that he signed... see how much teachers like NCLB... see what those in medicine think about the prescription drug program... and the only reason house ownership is up is because he had to drop the interest rate to almost all-time lows to try and stimulate the economy ... but it's coming back up now and the housing market is dying...

talk about taking a bunch of lemons and trying to make lemonade... hahaha... too bad you don't have any sugar...

I found this piece on the internet, I don't know the website's name, but I do believe it says it all...

Since becoming President of the United States in 2001, President Bush has worked with the Congress to create an ownership society and build a future of security, prosperity, and opportunity for all Americans. He signed into law tax relief that helps workers keep more of their hard-earned money, as well as the most comprehensive education reforms in a generation, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. This legislation is ushering in a new era of accountability, flexibility, local control, and more choices for parents, affirming our Nation’s fundamental belief in the promise of every child. President Bush has also worked to improve healthcare and modernize Medicare, providing the first-ever prescription drug benefit for seniors; increase homeownership, especially among minorities; conserve our environment; and increase military strength, pay, and benefits. Because President Bush believes the strength of America lies in the hearts and souls of our citizens, he has supported programs that encourage individuals to help their neighbors in need.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked our Nation. Since then, President Bush has taken unprecedented steps to protect our homeland and create a world free from terror. He is grateful for the service and sacrifice of our brave men and women in uniform and their families. The President is confident that by helping build free and prosperous societies, our Nation and our friends and allies will succeed in making America more secure and the world more peaceful.

What is the point of asking for a rant? Turning this thing into some sort of venting contest isn't going to solve anything - and the worst part of that fact is that you already know it.

Well mate I am from Australia and I despise Bush and his pressuring of other countries to join his little wars.
It seems to me that he is bankrupting your country with his ambitions and many future generations will be paying for his bible thumping global agenda.
Is it still possible to find democracy in the US? or has Bush just gone and covered that over as well?
The land of the free has gone, replaced with the land of Bush where you only get what you can afford to pay for.

Why don't we slam you instead. This is one of the most unintelligent questions I have ever read. As you are obviously a democrat why don't you try thinking of something good for our country. Oh, I forgot democrats don't think they just parrot the party line.
