do a search on your computer for "Record Now" and use that program

are you sure that your CD/DVD reader is able to write on to discs? Look at it does it say CD-R or CD-RW
if it has a W it means it can write if not, it cant

IM me @ joeyhaircut if you need more help

You need a compatible software. No matter windows stuck.
Here it is Nero 7 the only best seller for the CD/DVD writing/rewriting. I have this for most convineint conversion troubleshooting.
Download it and use the power you unleash in it.
Sea also Roxio easy CD/DVD

you probably need a better writing program. go to www.videohelp.com and there are a bunch of things there to help in this entire area. Not sure what you want the dvd or cd to be able to do if it is just to read on a computer there are tons of free programs to do that. To play in tv set top boxes it will be harder there are plenty of tools there to help you, install one

I prefer One click copy for me. But dvd-shrink and dvd-decrypter are excellent tools
